Equipping Leaders with the Tools, Knowledge, and Confidence for Unit Success

Are you a new Cub Scout leader, an experienced volunteer stepping into a new role, or a parent looking to get more involved in your child’s pack? Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training is designed to give you a strong foundation in the Cub Scouting program and show you exactly how to deliver a fun, safe, and meaningful experience for youth.

This comprehensive, instructor-led course covers the roles and responsibilities for all key adult leadership positions within a Cub Scout Pack, ensuring you feel confident and supported from day one.

  • Complete All Required Training at Once: Successfully completing this single evening satisfies the position-specific training requirements for Cubmasters, Den Leaders, and Committee Members.

  • Training That Lasts: Once completed, Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training does not expire.

  • Interactive & Collaborative: Learn directly from experienced district and council trainers, ask questions, and share ideas with fellow leaders.

ℹ️ Note: Pack Trainers must complete “The Fundamentals of Training,” which is a separate course and not included in this offering.

We Bring the Training to Your Unit!

Can’t make a scheduled district session? Our training is portable! Our council training team can bring this course directly to your pack meeting or committee gathering to get all of your unit’s adult leaders trained at once in a convenient, comfortable setting.
