Skilled Trades Week 2025

August 11th to August 15th

This life-experience program will enable our council to deliver an extraordinary program for Scouts who are interested in learning from experts in their trades.  

This program will run from Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 9. Located at 2 Iron Ore Rd @ Route 33, Englishtown, NJ 07726

On Friday the prgram will be held at Brookdale Community College 765 Newman Springs Rd, Lincroft NJ 07738

Merit Badges that are offered are

• Plumbing

• Welding

• Automotive Maintenance @ Brookdale Community College 

• Fire Safety, 

 

Cost: $350 per youth participant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Scouting Registration: All Participants must be actively registered in a Scout's BSA Troop or Venturing Crew.

Age Requirements: All Participants must be between 13 and 17 years of age by the FIRST day of the event.

Transportation is not provided.
